I’m just poking fun at the fact that the guy in the starter pack probably listens to them and that they all kind of sound the same. True, although with rage against the machine, I see them more as nu-metal than grunge/punk style, I haven’t heard too much of them. offspring would definitely be grunge/punk, Deftones I would put a bit of grunge/punk/rock, and rancid would just be grungy hardcore to me.

Out of all these bands, I’m only really an Yorkie Liberty liberties shirt . fan of Shinedown and rise against the cause they sound way more like hard/punk rock than the other genres they are associated with. I feel yea. I mean, I like their music but I’m not obsessed with them. Good to have in my headphones as I’m bombing down a trail. This is accurate, but could also be accurate for 500 other things because this type of person is very very real and stereotypically likes a lot of specific things. I’ve never listened to them much. I’m going to a show in December and they’re one of the support acts. Rather disappointed because I was expecting there to be better support acts. But hey, the headliner is one of my favorite bands.
