This Awesome Mix Vol. 3 soundtrack is a departure from its predecessors in that it features music from the 1970s through the 2000s. Also, unlike the original Awesome Mix and Awesome Mix Vol. 2, this playlist doesn’t come from Peter’s mother but rather from his adoptive father, Yondu. Still, two songs, in particular, are already familiar to Guardians fans.
