In the end, we bailed out of the contract over a trivial repair that they didn’t do. The next house appeared well cared for, at least for the open house. We got here and the seller was wrangling her kids together to get out the front door. When we came for the inspection, it was like a bomb of personal items exploded. Like, underwear on the hallway floor. We went through the inspection and some similar things were found, like dirty ductwork
