Product Description

Garth Brooks was There’S Nothing A Littele Dunkin’ Donuts And Disney Can’T Fix T-Shirt . at doing both. I think he is unfortunately overlooked as both an entertainer and a musician. So far as I know, he wrote most of his own stuff and had an incredibly inventive group of people to make sure his shows were as fascinating to watch as they were enjoyable to listen to. Choreographed stuff is also, IMHO, uninteresting to watch, but MJ, Madonna, et al made it almost a necessary part of that genre of music. I think in the era of MJ, it was unique and fun, but now it is a tried and true “feature” of the genre that we dismiss as canon, rather than innovation.

Part of the There’S Nothing A Littele Dunkin’ Donuts And Disney Can’T Fix T-Shirt . Cis the visuals. Even the most legit bands have all sorts of special effects, pyrotechnics, lights shows, etc. when they can afford them. Music evolves with technology, and pop stars take advantage of the fact that they can pre-record their songs and then do a live dance performance to them. There’s good pop and bad pop, but to completely dismiss the genre because they perform to their own pre-recorded songs is pretty close-minded. Yeah, I would venture so far as to say that they are. They have some skill with their chosen instruments, they sing well, and they produce catchy, memorable tunes that have garnered a significant amount of popularity on their own merit. Not only because of the live value. You should be self-aware enough then to not call it “crap” just because it’s not your style of entertainment. I think it’s incredibly disrespectful to call any complex form of entertainment “crap” just because you don’t like it. I wouldn’t call Radiohead “crap” if I didn’t like their style of music. You’re either a musician or an entertainer at any given moment in time, but that doesn’t mean you can’t transition back and forth. Gaga is a perfect example of that – one minute she’s prancing around in a flamethrower bra with a heavily digitized track behind her, and the next she’s in a small room with a piano singing a raw and stripped-down version.
