I did note the I’m a Shark a holic shirt and planned on mentioning this act in the survey I usually receive from the airline regarding my experience on their flights. Unfortunately, I didn’t receive one of them for this particular trip. I had the unfortunate experience of meeting Christina Aguilera and she was everything that I had expected her to be from just looking at her. I was working in a tollbooth in Kansas at the time she was touring the Midwest. It was the end of July of 2000.

We would get a lot of celebrities that were on tour or I’m a Shark a holic shirt and from appearances passing through as our interchange was a major hub to continue on to Kansas City or if they were coming from Kansas City, headed south. I worked nights and that’s when the majority of them would come rolling through with their caravans of tour busses and entourages. It really wasn’t a big deal to me as I had become accustomed to it and I really wasn’t ever star stuck. A lot of the famous people would actually be sitting in the passenger seat of the busses believe it or not! it was not uncommon for me to strike up a conversation with someone like that.
