In summer 2023, Spidey fans will finally get to dive back into the animated world with Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the sequel to 2018’s immensely successful Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. That first movie threw a young Miles Morales into a world with half a dozen wild Spider-Man Variants, and the sequel is expected to take that character count to insane levels.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is filled with an impressive ensemble of actors and actresses that bring heroes and villains to life on-screen. Despite the massive roster of talent, there are still other famous stars who were rejected for roles in the successful superhero franchise.

On August 18, the MCU is going green when Marvel Studios’ She-Hulk: Attorney at Law premieres on Disney+. Starring Tatiana Maslany, She-Hulk will explore how Bruce Banner’s cousin, Jennifer Walters, navigates her new smashing, green persona and her role as a lawyer for the superhuman law division.
Given the show’s legal premise, She-Hulk is set to continue the tradition of MCU cameos while also breaking new ground.
