7 Met Gala photos of Blake Lively’s incredible transforming gown

There were plenty of unbelievable looks from the 2022 Met Gala, including some from athletes in attendance.

But the one that was among the most buzzed about? That would be from Blake Lively.

The actress had a gown on that was already gorgeous — one with pink and orange accents.

But then? It was unpinned — or unhooked? I am hardly an expert and couldn’t tell from video — and suddenly, it was a different color entirely. A TRANSFORMING DRESS.

It was apparently a Versace gown inspired by the Empire State Building, Grand Central Station’s starry ceiling and the Statue of Liberty.
